Cell-phone camera Raman spectrometer

In this report, we describe the design, construction, and operation of a cell-phone-based Raman emission spectral detector, which when coupled to diffraction grating cell-phone camera system provides means for detection, recording, identification chemicals, drugs, biological molecules, in situ by their fluorescence spectra. The newly constructed spectrometer was used record spectra from various chemicals molecules including resonance enhanced carrots bacteria. addition, present quantitative analysis alcohol–water spectra, performed using our spectrometer. designed also constructing images samples utilizing position scanning stage conjunction with system. This compact portable is well suited field applications spectroscopy may be an integrated feature future cell-phones.
